General Assembly adopts the implementation of the Convention

​31/12/2012 - Recalling the Rio+20 outcome that recognized the need for urgent action to reverse land degradation and for striving to achieve a land-degradation-neutral world in the context of sustainable development, the 67th session of the General Assembly encouraged consideration to the issues of desertification, land degradation and drought in the elaboration of the post-2015
development agenda.
